WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Monday he would make an announcement in the next several days on his plans for sending long-delayed trade deals with South Korea, Colombia and Panama to Congress.
Obama was asked by a reporter at the start of a Cabinet meeting when he would submit the trade pacts to Congress for approval. "In the next several, in the next days," he said.
A senior administration official had said on Saturday the president could send the deals to Capitol Hill as early as Monday.
