"Heat Rises" tops best-sellers list

NEW YORK (Reuters) - "Heat Rises" jumped to the top of the Publishers Weekly best-sellers list on Thursday. The list is compiled from data from independent and chain bookstores, book wholesalers and independent distributors nationwide.

LONDON (Reuters) - James Palumbo is best known as the co-founder of Ministry of Sound, the music and nightclub business that claims to be the world's largest independent record company. But, for the time being at least, he is swapping the beats for books, self-publishing his second novel "Tancredi" -- a satire on everything from reality television to obesity and health care to political correctness.

Scarlett Johansson says privacy invasion is unjust, wrong

(Reuters) - Actress Scarlett Johansson on Wednesday spoke out for the first time since leaked nude photos of her appeared on several websites, saying that being a celebrity does not give others the right to invade her privacy. Earlier this month, the "Iron Man 2" star joined the growing list of Hollywood celebrities, including "High School Musical" actress Vanessa Hudgens and "Friends With Benefits" star Mila Kunis, who have had private photos leaked online at the hands of hackers.
