La Loma Village of Litchfield Park, AZ, Independent Living

On-site licensed nursing staff are available to provide 24-hour skilled care including IV therapy, tube feedings, wound care, routine hospice care, diabetic teaching and monitoring, pain management and renal care. Staffing ratios are higher than those typically found in a long term care environment.

Our Enrichment program offers a variety of activities including bingo, games (including the Wii), trivia and entertainment. Our activities are designed to meet social, physical and emotional needs. We provide three delicious meals and snacks served daily in a home-like atmosphere. Residents are offered a variety of choices at each meal. Our Social Services Manager along with our Care Plan team respond to the cognitive, physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs of each resident. A full service beauty/barber shop is located on the premises. Respite stays are available and can be as short as one night.

La Loma Care Center offers in-patient physical, occupational and speech therapies. Additionally, we offer pet therapy and music therapy. An interdisciplinary team develops a customized plan of care, created to meet changing needs. Therapy needs are evaulated and met with a multi-disciplinary approach. Our progressive, restorative nursing programs improve and maintain functional skills.

Opened in October, 2005, the 96-bed La Loma Care Center is situated on 353 pristine acres and is located on the La Loma Village Campus. This two-story facility which offers medical assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care is surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Private and semi-private rooms with cable access and one bedroom studios are available.
