Our service planning process, which is unique to Brookdale's communities, bases service fees on delivering quality care to each individual. This approach provides the best customer value for our residents because they only pay for what they need and want. These Personalized Service Plans are reviewed regularly by staff to ensure that we meet the changing needs of our residents.
Our trained staff is there to assist with personal needs - bathing or showering, selection of clothing, dressing assistance, grooming, hygiene, mobility and transferring and dining assistance - around the clock. At Sterling House, help is always close at hand.
Building Description
The innovative design provides private apartments as well as charming, home-like community areas for socializing, dining and entertaining. Private apartments are available in a variety of styles and sizes.
Sterling house is an intimate, single story building which makes all community areas easily accessible for individuals with limited mobility.
Living accommodations include: Choice of floor plan for studio or one bedroom apartments, wall-to-wall carpeting, private bath, including step-in shower, safety bars and non-slip surfaces, window coverings, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, kitchenette, including microwave, frost-free refrigerator, sink, telephone hookup, and basic cable. Small pets are allowed.
Comments
Hospice Care, personal attendant care, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy are all available as needed. Ambulatory and escort services are included. Life enrichment programs include wellness programs to cultural and social events.
Additional amenities include an on-site barber/beauty shop, dining room, library and ice cream shop.
Respite Care and Short Term stays are available.
