Royal Oaks is a not-for-profit Life Care Retirement Center located close to Boswell hospital, medical offices and shopping centers. Its Health Care Center contains 124 beds. The mission of Royal Oaks is to provide the facilities and services which will promote the highest degree of comfort, security, independence, and life satisfaction for our residents. Royal Oaks is committed to the belief that the retirement years can be the most fulfilling years of life, and all programs and supportive services are dedicated to this end.
Building Description
Almost 1,000 trees, shrubs and flower gardens adorn this 36 acre community. Its amenities include a chapel, swimming pool, jacuzzi, exercise room, grocery store, gift shop, arts and crafts room, woodworking shop, library, putting green, snack bar, and free covered parking for automobiles, golf carts and bicycles. Monthly Rates
Royal Oaks is a not-for-profit Life Care Center. First person entrance fees range from $82,000 to $286,000 with a second person fee of $13,000. Monthly service fees range from $1,317 to $3,287 with a second person fee of $818.

Royal Oaks started with an idea, a dream of two men, Dr. J. Davis Illingworth, then Senior and founding Pastor of Faith United Presbyterian church in Sun City and Mr. Roe Walker, a member of the congregation.
Royal Oaks opened December 1, 1983 and has been virtually 100 percent occupied or reserved since opening day.
