We have been voted "Best Value for the Money" and "Most Impressive Dining Experience" in 2004 & 2005. Two full-time activity directors communicate closely with our residents in order to facilitate a comprehensive and fun-filled activity program. From water aerobics & daily exercise to line dancing & casino outings, we are committed to having a good time. Other activities include bingo, sing-a-long, arts & crafts, scrap booking, jewelry-making, massage therapy, pet therapy, movies, card games, bible study, drama club, book club, & current events.
Building Description
Sun Grove Resort is a two-story, Mediterranean-style community located on beautifully-landscaped citrus grove in Peoria. In December 2005, all 10 buildings have been professionally painted to look spectacular. A magnificent dining room 30-feet high accommodates residents as they eat delectable meals prepared by our executive chef, a graduate of the Scottsdale Culinary Institute. Elegant dinners with entertainment are planned each month. Our clubhouse contains a beauty salon, library, fitness center, craft & game rooms, & a bakery and ice cream emporium where residents can eat free ice cream all day. A heated pool & spa round out the amenities.
Monthly Rates
Our rates are affordable. Rental rates include two meals per day, housekeeping & linen services twice monthly, all utilities (except telephone), satellite television, maintenance, 24-hour security services, an emergency call system, transportation as available to medical appointments, supermarkets, pharmacies & banks, scheduled activities, & golf cart shuttles. Covered parking is available as is on-premises caregiving assistance.
We offer help with bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, cooking, eating, medication self-administration, and much more. There are never any buy-in or entrance fees at Sun Grove Resort Village.
