Nursing Staff
On site registered/licensed nursing staff provides 24 hour care including intravenous therapy, tube feedings, wound care, orthopedic rehabilitation, diabetic teaching and monitoring, and pain management. Our nursing team takes pride in providing excellent care to our medically complex patients who chose to rehabilitate on our "Progressions Unit" and for others who make Sun West Choice their home for long term care. The ratio of caregiver hours is reflective of the level of care required by our residents.

Therapeutic Services
Our Medicare certified "Progressions Unit" recognizes that life sometimes presents us with challenges that require hard work and determination. Our "Bridges Therapy" program consists of licensed Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists who screen, evaluate, and treat each person on an individual needs basis under physician direction. Their goal is to provide the experiences and training required to prepare our patients to return to their prior roles in the community in the shortest time possible. Our therapists are caring, encouraging, supportive, motivating and successful.

Sun West Choice Healthcare & Rehab provides a home like environment for short and long term residents. Our "Progressions Unit" provides our patients with specific, goal oriented rehabilitation programs to help our patients reach their maximum functional ability. Our Progressions team specializes in providing complex medical services including orthopedic rehabilitation. Our room accommodations include flat screen TV's with high definition cable, customized pillow speakers, audio/visual emergency call system, wireless internet capability, a separate therapy gym, specialized food with flexible menus and a visitor's lounge with vending machines and a plasma TV. Our staff is involved in providing links to community services that will ensure continued success when returning to the community. We also offer our Remembrance Program, which is a 20 bed secured unit specifically designed for individuals with Alzheimer's and other related memory disorders. We provide transportation to scheduled medical, dental and other required therapeutic interventions.
