Care Staff
Our 24 hour staff has been trained to care for residents with dementia and dementia related diseases and impairments. The staff works closely with residents, family members, physicians, and other health care providers to develop an individualized care plan that each resident requires.
Activities/Services
We offer respite services. Our Life Engagement programs are designed to meet the needs of each resident. These programs are developed around the resident's specific interest, abilities, and past history. Life engagements continue throughout the day and night (as needed). There is an on-site beauty salon.
Building Description
Sunshine Village is a community within a community with a lush beautiful courtyard and walking path that provides a safe and secure outside. Our community contains 7 individual cottages. The cottage concept allows our residents to live as they did at home. They enjoy private or shared bedrooms, a common kitchen, dining room, rediscovery room, and living room. Our residents enjoy special lunches and other activities in the Club House. The community campus allows residents to visit other residents in another cottage or to walk in our beautiful courtyard safely.
Room Rates
Our monthly rates start at $3,545. The rate includes three meals everyday, several snacks, and individual care and life engagement programs.
Therapeutic Services
Additional services available include home health, podiatry, hospice, individual and family counseling, pastoral care, physical therapy, pet therapy and music therapy.

The goal at Sunshine Village is to provide the highest quality of life for each of our residents. The staff is dedicated to our life engagement philosophy of social, psychological, spiritual, and physical well-being of every resident. Residents at Sunshine Village receive personalized assistance from professionally trained caregivers, supervised by our nurse, 24 hour a day/7 days a week. Personal service plans are developed prior to move-in and regularly thereafter to determine level of care needed.
