Clinical Staff
Professionally trained staff who meet or exceed Arizona's highest standards of expertise, nurture residents 24 hours/day. Experienced geriatric nurse practitioners are on call 24 hrs/day and make regularly scheduled visits to residents each week. Five nutritional dining opportunities each day are provided under chef supervision. Staff also includes state-licensed Executive Director, full-time Activities Director, professional nurses, staff and housekeepers.
Activities/Services
The Stratford Square provides a residential approach to care for those with memory impairment, including Alzheimer's disease and other dementias through the exclusive Legacy Care Program. Enriched programming is designed to encourage self-reliance and independence centered on active living. Stimulating activities tailored to the resident's abilities create an uplifting, successful environment. Among resident favorites are community outings, musical programs, games, pampering hair and nail services, outside entertainers, sing-a-longs, visiting pets, and restaurant quality fine dining with family members.
Therapeutic Services
Additional services available include on-site health care provider visits billable to Medicare, home health, podiatry, audiology, hospice, individual and family counseling and pastoral care.
Building Description
The Stratford Square opened in September 2003 and created an upscale senior living community offering our residents four warm and welcoming neighborhoods. Each neighborhood is limited to no more than 9 individual resident suites. Each neighborhood has its' own color scheme and unique décor and includes a dining room, kitchen, and activity area where neighbors gather for group activities. This concept provides a home like atmosphere with the benefits of community living. Shared areas in each of the neighborhoods encourages socialization and friendships. Residents move freely and securely from indoors to the enclosed outdoor settings. Other features include beauty salon/barber shop, theater and ice cream parlor.
